Nykia Wright has been named interim CEO for the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), effective Nov. 20.

Waugh most recently served as president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate Professionals.

In her new role, Kossev will support Side partner companies via the company’s brokerage-as-a-service model.

Two years after his original departure from the company, Mark McLaughlin is returning to Compass as the company’s chief real estate strategist.

Ayoub Rabah, who has served as president of Coldwell Banker Realty in the Central West region since 2018, was recently promoted to the role of regional president, Midwest.

Mark Willis served as Keller Williams CEO from 2005 to 2015. 

The incoming executive has held similar roles at BlueLinx Corp. and Extended Stay America. 

The hire follows the December 2022 firing of the homebuilder’s senior vice president for field operations, who had been tapped to become COO on Jan. 1. 

Former executive manager of sales Mike Reddell will remain at Douglas Elliman as a sales agent.

Sue Yannaccone, CEO of Anywhere Brands, will lead the brokerage as M. Ryan Gorman moves to a strategic-advisor role. 

The new chief executive previously served as CEO of the Women’s Council of Realtors®. 

The Atlanta-based homebuilding giant will replace the outgoing executive with its senior vice president for field operations. 

Compass has announced a new CFO: Kalani Reelitz, the former CFO and COO of Cushman & Wakefield Americas. He will be based out of Chicago.
