by Emily Marek

The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) announced that Suzanne Westrum was named the new CEO of the organization.

Westrum previously served as the CEO of the Prescott Area Association of REALTORS® (PAAR) in Arizona, where she was recognized by Arizona REALTORS® with the 2023 Community Outreach Award and earned the Business Excellence Award from the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. Prior to her work with PAAR, she was the communications director and then the vice president of communications and marketing at the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR).

“Suzanne is a dynamic leader with a tenured history of association experience that will greatly benefit the future of GFWAR,” Blake Barry, the association’s 2024 president, said in a news release. “Her work at SABOR and PAAR illustrates her exceptional abilities, and we’re excited to have her bring those skills to Fort Worth.”

In her new role, Westrum will focus on strategic direction, including promoting the value of Realtors, enhancing member engagement and providing members with educational opportunities.

“I am very excited to become a part of an organization as impressive as GFWAR,” said Westrum, a native Texan originally from San Antonio. “I look forward to working with the incredible leadership team to build on the organization’s enduring legacy as together we drive innovation and provide exceptional value to members and the community.”
