Texas REALTORS® celebrated noteworthy members and local Realtor associations at the 2023 Texas Real Estate Awards at its winter meeting on Feb. 12.
“The Texas Realtors Awards highlight the exemplary contributions made by professionals and associations to our industry,” said Jef Conn, 2024 chairman of Texas REALTORS®. “This year’s winners have set a remarkable standard, showcasing their commitment to advancing the real estate landscape and enriching our communities.”
Two Dallas-area Realtors under age 40 were honored by the Texas REALTORS® Young Professionals Network (YPN) with the REALTORS to Watch award: Justus Carlile of Makin’ Moves Realty in greater Lewisville and Chris Tye of The Tye Team in Collin County. Leticia Gallegos, a Realtor with Twin Empire Group in Arlington, was also awarded the Strike Force Award for grassroots advocacy.
Furthermore, the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® was recognized for its educational program in the innovation and marketing categories. The MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Arlington Board of REALTORS®, Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® and Greater McAllen Board of REALTORS also received Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Recognition Program Awards for promoting DEI practices in real estate.
