by Emily Marek

The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® announced that Justin Landon will serve as the association’s new chief executive officer. Most recently, Landon worked as the leader of Bluegrass REALTORS® in Lexington, Kentucky, as well as its subsidiaries, Imagine MLS and the REALTOR® Community Housing Foundation.

“I’m honored to join the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® team as CEO,” Landon shared in a press release. “With exceptional leadership, industry-leading staff and a clear vision, we’re poised for great success.”

A University of California, Santa Barbara graduate and a member of a multi-generational Realtor family, Landon has 10 years of experience working in the United States Congress. Prior to serving as CEO in Lexington, Landon was vice president of government affairs for the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®.

“My family and I are overjoyed to be coming back home to Texas and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with the MetroTex REALTOR® community,” Landon added.

“Justin’s association experience brings a unique set of skills that we were looking for to lead MetroTex to the next level,” said President Ashley Gentry. “He has a proven track record in both the public and private sector, and we look forward to his leadership with MetroTex.”

Landon will assume the role of CEO on March 4.
