What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Working on the title/closing insurance side of the business.
Where did you grow up?
Dallas
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I wanted to be a movie star in romantic comedies.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Treat myself to a spa day, fine dining and a good cocktail.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Michelle Obama. She exemplifies class, grace, elegance, sass and wisdom.
What is Dallas’ best-kept secret?
Dallas has so many Mom and Pop restaurants, I love discovering them and trying them out.
What do you love most about the industry?
I love helping sellers and buyers with their most valuable assets. It warms my heart when my clients get exactly what they wanted.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I’m a people person and very straightforward. I’m honest with my clients, no sales pitches from me.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
It really bothers me when clients aren’t able to get what they want.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Always remain professional throughout the process, and your sphere will refer other clients.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Power, The Neighborhood. Reading 48 Laws of Power and Financial Literacy For All.
What’s your favorite meal in Dallas?
Eddie V’s steak and truffle mac & cheese.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Dallas?
The AT&T building downtown.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I walked into a home for a showing and the owner came downstairs in his underwear. My clients and I we’re shocked at first, then we walked out laughing.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
I’m a scaredy-cat, I’m afraid of birds, rodents, lizards and all bugs.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It’s so serene and beautiful.
What is your favorite city after Dallas?
Houston

As the saying goes, “always be marketing.”
