Frisco is the No. 4 most affordable city in the U.S. for remote workers

by Emily Marek

Frisco is one of the most affordable cities in the country for people who work from home, according to a report from CoworkingCafe.

In addition to Frisco’s low cost of living and the thriving Texas economy, nearly 40% of the city’s workforce is remote, indicating a strong remote work culture. Furthermore, the average remote worker has a salary of $72,000 per year, the 11th highest in the country, while the unemployment rate is only 2.4%.

Frisco is also known for top-notch internet connectivity and is located within close proximity of three major airports, making it ideal for remote workers who need to do their jobs on the go.

Allen and McKinney also ranked in the top 20 at Nos. 15 and 19, respectively. Both cities offer relatively high median incomes and provide the same cost of living perks as Frisco.
